Sri Lankan based Graphic Designer and Illustrator, Dilushi Prasanna, spent her early life in Kuwait before moving back to her motherland to pursue a career in design. Coming from a long line of artists which includes her grandparents and most of her immediate family, Dilushi was given the freedom to foster her creativity and hone in on her artistic talents, eventually leading to her exploration of Visual Communication Design at the Academy of Design, Colombo. Her approach to design enjoys incorporating vibrant colors and building characters using a quirky light-hearted style, promoting her audience to express themselves as vividly as possible. Dilushi’s primary artistic influence is her father, a Senior Art Director, and a constant source of inspiration and support.
Dilushi has successfully worked with fashion labels, social media agencies and corporate businesses to accumulate a diverse portfolio of artwork. The fruits of her labor paid off when she was won The Roger Hatchuel Academy Competition and became the Sri Lankan representative at the Cannes Lion Festival.
Currently Dilushi is finishing up her degree in design and hopes to start travelling soon after.
